I went through our physical media collection to find my favorite black love movies for Valentine’s Day. As V-Day approaches, the weather is nasty and the coronavirus outbreak has me staying at home.
Listed below are my favorite black love movies to help me and my man enjoy a romantic evening at home. I plan to add balloons, flowers, chocolates, a romantic homemade dinner, a movie from the list below, champagne, Teddy Pendergrass, edible underwear, and applied lessons from the educator Jill Scott (in that order) for a memorable evening.
You don’t need a fancy home theater to create a romantic dinner and a movie experience. A few simple touches and advance planning eliminates the return trip home to get to the “chill” part; which is better than any crowded retail movie theater can offer on Valentine’s Day!
