Welcome to A Reel Cinema @ Home’s annual Golden Globes overview, cast, and trailer page for each Golden Globe nominee. Clicking on the links in each category will give you all the information you need about each nominee.
A Reel Cinema @ Home is about that movie & television geek life so the Golden Globes Awards kicks off a great 2020 award season highlighting the best in film and television for 2019.
The 77th Golden Globe Awards will be televised on Sunday, January 5, 2020. NBC will televise the show at 8 PM EST/ 5 PM PST. Ricky Gervis will return as the host. As always, E! will kick off the award show with red carpet interviews at 3:00 PM PST.
The Golden Globe Awards are determined by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). The HFPA is made up of 90 journalists from around the world. The HFPA members are NOT Academy voters.
Each year there are so many films nominated we never get a chance to watch them all. All the nominated films have moved to the top of our priority watch list. If the movie is worthy of a Globe nomination, then the movie is worthy of us watching when it makes it to blu-ray.
We haven’t seen every movie so we are not making predictions. Please leave a comment below letting us know who you think will win Best Picture.
Enjoy the award show!
